On May 21–22, 2026, within the framework of the AGREE project implementation, representatives of the State University of Trade and Economics (SUTE), Prof. Taras Karavayev and Prof. Nataliia Tanklevska, participated in a highly relevant and timely event – the International Scientific and Practical Conference “Prospects and Threats for the Ukrainian Agri-Food Sector in Terms of the European Green Deal.”

The conference took place at the National University of Life and Environmental Sciences of Ukraine (NULES) and was distinguished by a high level of representation, sparking professional and constructive discussions on the future of the Ukrainian agricultural sector.

The researchers of the AGREE project from SUTE presented their findings in a report titled: “Innovative Approaches to the Post-War Recovery of Ukraine’s Agricultural Potential under the Implementation of the European Green Deal.”

Participation in the conference served as a milestone event for the implementation of the AGREE project, as it ensured:

Experience and Knowledge Exchange: During the conference were discussed practical case studies with colleagues on applying artificial intelligence and smart technologies for the safe restoration of land resources in Ukraine.

New Insights: AGREE project representatives gained the latest perspectives regarding the adaptation of the Ukrainian agricultural sector to the regulatory requirements of the Green Deal.

Expansion of the Partner Network: Connected with new like-minded professionals and potential partners ready to join our agricultural innovation network.
